Compass Instruments appointed as authorized partner and distributor for XOS on-line analyzers across the U.S.
EAST GREENBUSH, N.Y., Oct. 26, 2016 /PRNewswire/ — Compass Instruments, a leading manufacturer’s representative in the U.S. petroleum market, and XOS, the leading global provider of mission-critical materials-analysis equipment, have established a new partnership to distribute XOS’ on-line products across the U.S. With their well-established customer-base, highly qualified technical and sales personnel, and single-source solution, Compass Instruments is the partner of choice for XOS to drive process analyzer growth.
Under the new partnership, Compass Instruments will provide XOS with sales, distribution, logistics and after-sales services for their on-line products. XOS offers two process analyzers: Sindie On-line for sulfur analysis of liquid hydrocarbons and Clora On-line for chlorine analysis in hydrocarbon or water. Both products use Monochromatic Wavelength Dispersive X-Ray Fluorescence (MWDXRF), a direct measurement technique that enables precise results in a solution that runs for months without calibration or maintenance.
Many existing XOS customers currently work with Compass as a trusted source for their analytical equipment needs. With the addition of XOS’ on-line analyzers complementing their suite of products, customers can purchase from one single-source. “This is an ideal partnership that will build on the strengths of both companies to provide better solutions for our customers,” stated Michael Palmer, Vice President of Sales for XOS.
XOS is a leading manufacturer of application-specific X-ray analyzers, offering elemental analysis solutions that improve public safety and customer efficiency in industries like petroleum, consumer products, and environmental compliance. For petroleum applications, XOS offers portable, lab, and process analyzers with unrivaled precision at the push of a button. XOS also offers analyzers for the detection of toxic elements in consumer products and in the environment. XOS’s advanced optics and OEM sub-systems can increase precision, speed, and spatial resolution, while decreasing the size, complexity, and cost of the instrument.
