X-Beam: Powerflux PC/PS

X-Beam: Powerflux PS/PC
The X-Beam® Powerflux PC provides a fully integrated beam solution including an air-cooled X-ray source coupled to a collimating polycapillary optic for powder diffraction applications such as texture, stress, and strain measurements. The parallel beam geometry reduces or removes many sources of errors in peak position and intensity inherent to para-focusing Bragg-Brentano geometry and is ideally suited for irregularly-shaped or unprepared samples.

Typical Powerflux PC Specifications:

Nominal Output Power 50W, 1 mA (75W and 100W available)
Stability < 0.5% RSD over 8 hours
Ambient Operating Temperature 20 – 30 °C
Cooling Mode Integrated forced air
Targets Cr, Cu, Mo
Optional Features Integrated shutter module, Integrated filter assembly
Beam Size 0.5 – 20 mm
Flux ~109 photons/sTypical: 4.5 x 109 photons/s with a beam size of 4.0 mm at Cu Kα, 40 W

X-Beam®: Powerflux PS

The X-Beam® Powerflux PS provides a fully integrated beam solution including an air-cooled X-ray source coupled to a slightly focusing polycapillary optic optimized for applications such as Micro X-ray Diffraction for single crystals and powders. A typical Powerflux PS offers a 200 µm or 300 µm beam and several beam divergence and intensity options.
