SPIE Honors Dr. Walter Gibson at Annual Conference

SPIE held a symposium in Honor of Dr. Walter Gibson’s 75^th birthday at its annual conference in San Diego. Fifty years ago, coincident with the founding of SPIE, Walter Gibson published an article in the 100th volume of Physics Review, the first of his more than 300 articles in refereed journals. Dr. Gibson founded X-ray Optical Systems, Inc. (XOS) in 1990.
